Bu makalenin amacı, ATA ekibinin yaptığı çevirilerin tamamen hatasız olduğunu belirtmek değil, bu el yazmasının Türkçe içeriği hakkında dil bilimcilere bilgi aktarmak ve bu çalışmaları dil bilimcilerin eleştirilerine sunmaktır. In this article, attention is shown to the different readings of page-33v of the Voynich-manuscript with using different phonetic approaches based on ‘ATA-Alphabet-Transcription’. Öyle ki, yayınlamış olduğu eleştiri videosunda Mr. Koen esasen, bilim/hakem kurulunu Eski Türkçe uzmanlarının oluşturduğu uluslararası bir sempozyumda Türkoloji uzmanı dil bilimcilerin eleğinden geçerek 2023 yılında yayınlanmış olan ve içeriğinde en güncel ve iddiamıza dair bilimsel kanıtları barındıran makalemizi bilimsel yöntemlerle incelememiş ve eleştirmemiştir. Bunun yerine Bay Koen, içeriğinde VM_Eski Türkçe iddiamızın bilimsel örtüşme ve kanıtlarını barındırmayan 2018 yılında haber amaçlı olarak yayınladığımız bir youtube videomuzla yine 2018 yılında sayın Turgay Tüfekçioğlu’nun çalışmalarımızı duyurmak için yayınladığı “VM ve Eski Türkçe alanındaki çalışmalarımızı” konu eden söyleşi/sohbet niteliğindeki youtube videolarını konu alarak, bunlar üzerinden bilimsel iddiamızın çürütüldüğü algısı yaratmaya çalışmıştır. Bay Koen söyleşi ve haber amaçlı eski videolarımız üzerinden hiç incelemediği anlaşılan VM-Eski-Türkçe iddiası taşıyan bilimsel çalışmamızı gözden düşürmeye yönelik yalan bilgi vermek ve çeşitli detaylarda gerçekleri çarpıtmak da dahil olmak üzere bazı iddialar ileri sürmüştür. Öyle ki bu noktada kendisinin sözde eleştiri videosunda güya dikkat çektiği beş genel problem şunlardır: - İncompatibility With Voynichese (Voynichese İle Uyumsuzluk) - Focus On The Wrong Words (Yanlış Kelimelere Odaklanma) - Too Much Freedom (Çok Fazla Özgürlük) - Reliance On Coincidence (Tesadüflere Güvenme) - Shor & Silly Translations (Kısa ve Saçma Çeviriler) İşte bu beş başlık altında ileri sürülen sözde genel eleştiri hatalarının, VM-Eski-Türkçe araştırma çalışmamızla bir alakası olup olmadığı benim bu cevap mektubu niteliğindeki makalemde ele alınmaktadır. Öyle ki, bu makalemin içeriğinde, Koen G’nin bilimsel-eleştiri adı altında (sözde bilimsel bir eleştiri görüntüsü vererek) esasen bilim dışı biçimde konuyu nasıl ele alındığı madde madde ve kanıtlarıyla birlikte gösterdim. Koen-G tarafından bu bağlamda ortaya atılan her detaydaki iddiaların ve spekülasyonların tamamen bilim dışı ve rasyonellikten uzak ve dil bilimi alanında tutarsız önermeler de sunacak biçimde oluşturulduğu bu makalemizde gösterilmektedir. Koen Gheuens yayınladığı sözde eleştiri videosunda esasen, “İnceleme ve Eleştirinin Adil, Bilimsel, Evrensel İlkeleri ve Kuralları” ve “Meslek Etiği” bağlamında neredeyse bütün ilkeleri görmezden gelmiştir. İşte bu makalenin içeriğinde bütün bunları kanıtlarıyla birlikte açıklamış bulunuyorum. When Language Turns Against Truth: The Fragile Foundation of Lies Download |

| Description: This article is a response letter that explains how Koen Gheuens, in his YouTube video titled “We need to talk about YouTube's favorite Voynich Theory,” strayed far from the fields of science and logic while attempting to criticize our VM-Old Turkic claim and how he mixed falsehoods and speculations into a linguistic research critique. In his published critique video, Mr. Koen essentially failed to scientifically examine and critique our most recent article, which contains the most up-to-date and scientific evidence for our claim, published in 2023 and reviewed by a scientific committee of Old Turkic experts during an international symposium attended by linguists specialized in Turkology. Instead, Mr. Koen chose to focus on a YouTube video we published in 2018 for news purposes, which does not contain the scientific evidence for our VM-Old Turkish claim, as well as another 2018 YouTube video by Mr. Turgay Tüfekçioğlu introducing and discussing our work in the field of VM and Old Turkish related, and used these videos in an attempt to create the perception that our scientific claim had been refuted. Mr. Koen made several assertions, including false information and distortions of facts, seemingly aimed at discrediting our scientific work on the VM-Old Turkish claim, yet he did not examine the academically published work. In his so-called critique video, the five general problems he purportedly emphasized are as follows: - **Incompatibility With Voynichese**, - **Focus On The Wrong Words**, - **Too Much Freedom**, - **Reliance On Coincidence**, - **Short & Silly Translations**, In this response letter-like article, I examine whether these five purported general critique issues have any relevance to our VM-Old Turkic research. I demonstrate, item by item and with evidence, how Koen G’s approach is fundamentally unscientific, even though he presents it as a critique under the guise of a scientific review. This article highlights how all the claims and speculations made by Koen Gheuens in this context are entirely unscientific, irrational, and formulated in ways that present inconsistent propositions within the field of linguistics. In his so-called critique video, Koen Gheuens essentially disregarded almost all principles and rules of “Fair, Scientific, and Universal Standards for Review and Criticism” as well as “Professional Ethics.” In this article, I have explained all of this along with supporting evidence. (This article/response has been published in three different formats: one in Turkish, one in English, and one as an extended summary of the English version.) This document contains the full English version of the mentioned article. The topic has been addressed with detailed examples that could serve as educational material for linguistics students and academics on “how not to conduct scientific critiques.” Additionally, it includes new elements related to our VM transliteration and transcription readings.
